They both need to go down at once so that there is a window of unobserved opportunity that the larger threat they both report to is not warned and able to take counter-measures or increase precautions. If I had to guess, you'd dispatch the secret team of black ops ponies to deal with these two individuals because they were in a position to thwart or complicate some other thrust, be it a political manouver or an overt assault, intended to go through some short time after the planned simultaneous hit. Like, they could be a secret agent/backup combo, you need to take out the point-man and his handler both so that the cell simply goes dark rather than radioing in, or some such. Which means they have some resource that they can access, or tertiary threat they can warn but that will remain out of play and/or unaware as long as neither realises they have been targeted. You take the two of them out at the same time so that neither learns the other has been attacked in time to do anything about it, most likely. Then even if the second one is taken out the mega-corp still exists and starts pooling valuable resources and research that'd quickly come to be a threat to the King.Uh. what Bad Thing happens if one pies first? Is is just it will make it much more difficult/ impossible to for the other one to pie, or something worse?)īecause if one gets taken out, the other takes over his company, quick as business, and creates a massive amalgamation mega-corp. The major question is, then, why do these ponies need urgently apastrinating by the King secret dirty black ops, and why simultaneously? (I.e. This will require you to split your limited resources to deal with both at the same time, which is the challenge of the operation. The trouble is, they need to be apastrynated simultaneously (or as near as dammit) - or perhaps even at some specific time. They are some mid-rank civic figures, perhaps in the civil service or moderately influential nobles or businessponies. Word has come up from on high that in Canterlot, there are two ponies which must be apastrynated. Your task is to sneak around in Equestria and do all manner of Bad Stuff to ponies without being caught, or even anyone catching on there even IS a Sombra's dirty black ops organiation. You are members of King Sombra's dirty black ops team.
